Subject: Hosed on Auction Arms
Comment: I was hosed on Auction Arms. I', 175 bucks. They have yet to respond to this. The site isn't safe, be careful. They didn't tell me the sellers acount was suspended, they have no customer service, it is obvisous that they don't check sellers personal data or credit card data. They give sellers buy now after only one transaction. Also their corporate status is revoked by the Nevada Secretary of States Office. This was my first and last transaction on Auction Arms.

Subject: web buyer support
Comment: Non existent support from an arrogant Bob Lancaster. Poor search engine when searching for "enfield 22 training rifle". Brought up an Enfield"22". I bid, by mistake, on a 22 inch barrelled rifle instead of 22 caliber. Immediately notified seller to remove my bid. Did not hear from until after close when sent invoice. Called him and he said had to give me a negative feedback as only way to not pay commission. HIs feedback went so far as to call me a deadbeat. Lancaster said basically that seller did not have to do that, it was seller option, he would not allow me to give seller any feedback and said in effect I was a deadbeat as my solution was to buy the rifle-even if bid by mistake. Strict liability on this step sister to the best -gunbroker.com. Gunbroker recognizes mistakes can be made-especially on computers. Lancaster apparently treats both buyers and sellers with utter disdain if other reviews are taken into account. I am in disbilief as to his treatment of his customers..I have bought over 22 rifles on this site -will never even go on the site again!

Subject: Auction Arms User Terms and Conditions
Comment: While AuctionArms requires the user to rigidly conform to the User Agreement, they ignore it when it suits them.
Due to a mix-up at the shoop, a gun we were auctioning was sold over the counter before the auction ended. However, we did not end the auction early.
Bob Lancaster of Auction Arms ordered us to get the gun back and send it to the AA buyer. We went through some embarassing moments getting the gun back and actually paying the local customer a premium to return it.
In the meantime, despite their policy which states, "We are not involved in the actual transactions between Buyers and Sellers," AuctionArms released the buyer from his obligation, allowed him to enter negative feedback for us, and then cancelled our account.
It is my personal opinion that this is the most arrogant, overbearing, and inconsiderate treatment I have ever received from anyone other than a couple of thieves.
